  • These gaiters have a long history, they are extremely strong and withstand the test of time. The strap on the top of the foot is made of BioThane webbing, which has been sewn with three bartacks. There is also an extra tab to hold down the front opening. The design is tailored to fit well and the fabrics used are both durable and waterproof, which is the standard that all gaiters are compared to.
  • The gaiters are able to withstand water, wind, and abrasions. They are made with a laminated construction.
  • The strap on the top of the foot is made of long-lasting BioThane. The inner leg and boot areas are reinforced with Cordura which is resistant to abrasions. The lower part of the boot that gets exposed to more abrasions is lined with Packcloth.
  • The gaiters have a larger size to fit plastic mountaineering boots. The front closure is stitched twice for extra strength. The hooks to secure the bootlaces are reinforced. The closure at the front uses a hook and loop system, while the closure at the top uses buckles.
  • The leg panel is made of GORE-TEX 3L fabric, which is 100% nylon and has a plain weave. The foot panel is made of Cordura 2L fabric, which is 100% nylon and woven with 1000D threads.
